Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Karma Jyotisha website and MCP connector (the “Service”), operated by Aditya Sharma. By using the Service you accept these terms. Questions: [email protected].

What the Service is

The Service runs classical Vedic astrology (Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra) calculations — charts, divisional vargas, daśās, yogas, ṣaḍbala, aṣṭakavarga, pañcāṅga and more — accessed as a connector inside an AI app (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible app). It computes; you and your AI interpret.

Plans and billing

Karma Jyotisha has a free plan (Seeker) and a paid plan (Sādhaka) at INR 99 per month. The paid plan renews automatically every month until you cancel. Dodo Payments is the merchant of record: it sells the plan to you, charges your payment method and calculates and collects taxes. The price in your currency and any taxes are shown at checkout, before you pay. Features and limits for each plan are described on the pricing section of the homepage.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time. Sign in at /account and use the “Cancel subscription” button to cancel or the “Update card or invoices” button to update your card, or email [email protected] from your account email and we will cancel it for you. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Paid access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds

Email us within 14 days of a charge made in error or if you could not use the service. We review each request and refund where the charge was not for service you could use. Refunds are processed through Dodo Payments.

Availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Features may change, break or be withdrawn, and we don’t guarantee uptime. If we make a material change to a paid plan, we will tell you in advance; continued use after a change means you accept it.

Not advice — and no guarantees

• Outputs are classical interpretations framed as probability, not certainty. Astrology is not physics; we may be wrong.
• The Service is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
• For major decisions, health, legal/money matters, or any crisis, consult a qualified human professional — and, for astrology, a vetted living Jyotiṣī.
• We make no guarantee of any outcome. Karma is action; the chart shows timing, you author the result.

No fear, no remedies sold

We do not sell gemstones, pūjās, or remedies, and never frame your chart as a curse to be “fixed”. If anyone uses our name to sell fear or remedies, that is not us.

Acceptable use

• Use the Service lawfully, for your own personal use.
• Don’t abuse, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, attack, or resell access.
• One connector per person. Keep your connector URL private.
• Only enter someone else’s details if you have a reason to hold them, such as being their family member, or they agreed.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or revoke an abused connector without notice.

Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: birth details you give a tool are used to calculate your result and are not saved by us; we keep your email, plan and usage counts.

Intellectual property

The software, design, and the “Karma Jyotisha” name are owned by the operator. The classical texts are shared heritage; our implementation is ours.

Termination

You may stop any time and ask us to delete your data (see Delete my data). We may suspend or end access for abuse or to comply with law.

Disclaimer & liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from its use or from decisions you make based on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes & contact

We may update these terms; the effective date at the top reflects the latest version. Governed by the laws of India. For anything at all, write to [email protected].
